Make progress

...with the Apprenticeship Service

Are you planning to recruit an apprentice this year?

One of the themes for this, the 13th National Apprenticeship Week is ‘Make Progress’, to celebrate the diversity of opportunity that apprenticeships can bring to employers and individuals.

With that in mind the award winning Apprenticeship Service is taking that theme on board and is itself diversifying to meet the needs of all employers.

But what is the Apprenticeship Service and how can it benefit employers and their plans for taking on apprentices this year and beyond?

The Apprenticeship Service is where employers will set up their own online apprenticeship account and then be able to get funding to pay for apprenticeship training and assessment costs. They’ll use their accounts to;

• get apprenticeship funding
• find and save apprenticeships
• find, save and manager training providers
• recruit apprentices
• add and manage apprenticeships

Look out for next week’s email which will highlight the benefits of registering on the Apprenticeship Service.

In the meantime this week is all about celebrating all things apprenticeships.

National Apprenticeship Week 2020 is here

This annual celebration of apprenticeships will bring the whole apprenticeship community together to celebrate the impact of apprenticeships on individuals, employers and the economy.

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2020 is “Look Beyond”.
We are encouraging everyone to look beyond the outdated stereotypes surrounding apprenticeships and to celebrate the diversity of opportunity and value that they bring to the country today
